curriculumMultimedia is a highly interdisciplinary program. The College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Communication contribute courses in studio art, art history, visual literacy, graphic design, computer programming, audio technology, photography, and video. In addition, there are core multimedia courses in which students learn to integrate the disciplines through the design and creation of new media projects. Formal admission to the program requires a portfolio, a written statement, and a personal interview with the program head. This is normally evaluated during the sophomore year or prior to admission for incoming transfer students. Refer to the AU course catalog for additional information. |
