Drop it like it's hot : Tegan Mahford

In this project, I used Max/MSP to create an autobiography through a branching narrative using video and sounds to show how I feel juggling all my activities. In it, I hand the reigns over to the viewer, who essentially picks the path that will unfold for me by clicking on the different choices below the window frames.
As the viewer moves through the sequence, he/she notices that no matter which way they choose, the ending always seems to go wrong; there are no happy endings. I try to emphasize a lack of control over one’s life in this, because although people try to control their days—they plan in advance, organize—it is impossible to ever really control over the events that take place.
